Monday Pick Me Up

Another week has come and gone. Boy, the do go fast these days! Hope everyone had a great week. This pic is dedicated to my BBF Gypsy. Enjoy hon.

I just finished the second run of edits for Dark Passion Rising and am excited about it's release in March. I am fortunate to have a fabulous editor who really brought out my best work. Big hug Hannah you are the best!

I also started revisions on my new book The Summoning it's a Paranormal Romance set in present time. Along with that I have been hard at work drafting the second in the Dark Breed series. It starts six months after where we left off in Dark Passion Rising. I'm hoping to be in the revision stage of the sequel by spring.

There is several other projects on deck but for the moment I am just concentrating on these two. Also don't forget, I have Marcus Valerian's interview coming up in March. He will be talking about Dark Breeds and what being an Enforcer entails.  More of this on future posts.

Have a great week I know I will.

Monday Pick Me Up

Here is your Monday pick me up. Yep, works for me.

So, last week was a crazy busy one. My latest book is now in revisions and I am determined to get this out for publication this year! I participated with my local RWA chapter on Saturday's all day workshops. My chapter the Las Vegas Romance Writers RWA is concentrating this year on the theme "A Book in a Year" Striving for every member to have at least finished one book by the time the Senior Editor of Carina Press visits in November. Her sole purpose is to hear pitches. Very excited about that and have chosen one of my Works in Progress (WIP's) for this.
Now, as I have said I am revisions for my latest book tentatively called The Summoning. I have a small excerpt up right now at Write in the Shadows. A blog I am proud to be included in with seven other fabulous writers. you can read it at writeintheshasows@blogspot.com. Don't forget to leave a comment please I would love hearing from you.
And don't forget that Marcus Valerian will be here so any questions you may have for this delicious Vampire just reply on the comment area below. Details on the exact date will be forthcoming and will follow the Release of Dark Passion Rising.
Check back with me every Monday for more details on this and what I have in the works for this year.

Have a great week everyone,

Monday Pick Me Up

Good Morning it's Monday once again. Hope everyone is rested from the weekend. Me, not so much. Been busy working the first draft of an exciting new series while stopping by the Dark Breeds neighborhood to work on Tegan's story. Boy, these boys get demanding! But that's OK they are so yummy to look at I can forgive them anything.

In the months to follow look for the gorgeous Enforcers of the Dark Breed to stop by for a quick interviews. Yep that's right, they all have finally agreed to step up and talk about their lives.

So, If there is anything you want to ask one of them just email me a comment and I'll see to it that you get your answer.

Expect Marcus to come by the last part of March, more details to following in future blogs.

Have a wonderful week and will see you next Monday!

Monday Pick Me Up

Okay friends here is this weeks inspiration...Sigh. I hope everyone had a good weekend as for me? Not so much. Came down with the sucky flu on Tuesday which had me down flat untill Sunday. The only bright spot was I did get my first edits finished and sent back and had the chance to talk a little with my editor - very sweet and talented Lady!

So now that I have a little time before the next round of edits to come in I can work on the second book of the Dark Breed series which is coming together quite nicely. I am also busy working on several other books and if I time this all just right you will be seeing several different books from me this year *fingers crossed* hopefully the muse will keep with me.

Well, back to work and come back and see what's up and who is my next Monday Pick Me Up. Feel free to post a comment and I will get back to you.

Until next Monday have a great one,
Shannan
