Pick Me Up Monday

Happy Monday!

 I loved this tat and he's not bad on the eyes either. It's hard to believe the start of fall is only a few days away. The year is going way too fast for my liking, soon we will be in the holiday season. As I mentioned last week I took a small camping vacation with my hubby. It was wonderful to stop for a moment and just enjoy nature and my hubby's company. I now it was needed by how rested and centered I feel and I'm back to work with new energy.

On the writing front I'm wrapping up Passions Flight, which turned out to be much longer than expected. This installment has a few more twists and turns in it than the first and you get a glimpse of Atlantean culture and politics, which should be quite interesting. I will keep you posted with more information and if you're curious I do have snippets for you to check out every Sunday with Six Sentence Sundays.

I am also busy with the second novella of the Knights of Excalibur and should be to my editor in October. I have spoken on and off about one novel I've been working on for three years. The Summoning is a full length novel and will be submitted to a new publisher who has requested it by the spring of next year. And yes, if they take this book it will be available in paperback and ebook formats and like the other two it is a series so I'll keep you up to date on this as I have more information.

     Time for another six from Passions Flight. While Tegan is busy finding the wayward Archaeologist, Marcus is in a quandary. With no leadership to bring the Dark Breeds together how can they live a peaceful existence with humanity?

       Marcus frowned, concern for Tambra darkening his eyes, "Temple Fox has been too quiet since the uprising I don’t trust it or him.”

     “Screw Temple we’ll deal with him when the time comes. As for the other the lack of new leadership,  I know just the person who could bring them all together.”

     “Who do you know that’s so capable?” He smiled softly taking a moment to relish the softness of her palm on his skin before taking her hand in his and threading his fingers through hers.

     She gave him a sexy grin showing a flash fangs. “You of course.”

Monday Pick Me Up

                  Happy Monday Friends. This tasty man is sure to perk up anyone's week. I'm sure you agree.

     I'm posting this in advance since I am out communing with nature. After the Erotic Authors Conference hubby and I packed our camping gear and went to enjoy a place I spent my summers at. Happy childhood memories I have been wanting to share with him for many years. In a small town called Kernville is a beautiful campground called James Camp where you can set up a tent right by the river. I caught my first fish there and look forward to catching a few trout for our dinner. I also am bringing my netbook so I can get in a few hours of uninterrupted writing in.

Speaking of which I am hoping to have all edits done for Passions Flight done and submitted by the end of this month. Then it's on to Zeke's story. In addition I will have the second novella in the Knight's of Excalibur to my editor in early October and working on the third one to this series as well.

     Tegan interjected impatiently, “That still doesn’t explain what this all has to do with us.”

     “It has everything to do with you son.” Nicolai stated firmly.

Tuesday Tidbits

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone had a fantastic Labor Day. I'm wrapping up Tegans Story and already working the outline for Zeke's. Also I'm hard at work with the Second in the Knights of Excalibur series and hope to have it in for edits by early October. No rest for the wicked or the weary as the saying goes.

This is an exciting time for me with two series underway and for those of you who follow my blogs know I'm also working on a much larger novel called The Summoning which is also the first in an ongoing series called The Watchers War. I have perked the interest of a publishing house who does Paperback and then Ebooks so this is very exciting. I will have it to the editor by early spring. (I hope.) I am going to be at the Flamingo this weekend for the Erotic Authors Association Convention on September 9th and 10th and am very excited about that to say the least.

I also have Dark Passion Rising the first book in the Dark Breed series as a revolving book this week and I have noticed  there's been a lot of interest in my series lately. Whoo Hoo!

As I have mentioned in last weeks Monday Pick Me Up post I have quite a few contests going on this month. I'm in the Full Moon Web Hunt going on from September 1 through October 31st. Pick Me Up Monday

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone back east is doing well. With the earthquake followed by hurricane Irene leaving so many area's hit my thoughts and prayers are with you.

As you know I have been under the weather since coming back from Authors After Dark. I haven't been doing much except sleeping on the weekends to get rid of this bug. Though I feel much better there hasn't been much progress on my works in progress. So it's time to go into my cave and get to work.
